First post!

Hi everyone! As I write in the description of this blog, I'm a foreign language learner enthusiast. I am that person who could count from one to ten in more than five languages and read four alphabets without being able to watch a full movie in some of them. Just when I become familiar with one, I get interested in another and little by little I abandon the previous one. My crime is wanting to cover much more than I should.

I am currently learning German and this afternoon I received my second Japanese class. Nevertheless, due to some situations in my life (i.e. existential crisis caused by the shortness of life, graduation from higher education and being hired in my first job), I have decided to stop that old habit of jumping from one language to another without getting in-depth knowledge. That is how this blog emerges.

I decided to start writing with a double purpose. The first one, the personal one, is to document in a daily basis (I hope) my progress in both languages to feel engaged with myself and with my readers. My second goal is to accompany other language learners who feel as alone in their achievement as I once felt.

In short, this blog is my language diary. A learning log. I know there are many people of different ages who are acquiring a second language and that's why I decided to open this space; to go together, share our experiences and keep the motivation to the top. Nothing would make me happier.
